With the help of our members, we put together a list of bookstores that do an especially good job carrying and supporting the work of independent literary publishers. The 130+ bookstores on this list—each of them recommended by CLMP member presses and magazines—are from 37 states, as well as D.C. and Canada, and they range from nationally recognized indie bookstore fixtures to smaller, newly opened stores.
