ROLLING SUBMISSION PERIOD: Launched in 2023 by the co-editors of Gunpowder Press, David Starkey and Chryss Yost, Anacapa Review is a bi-monthly online journal.
Anacapa Review considers poems in any style. You may submit up to 3 poems per submission.
Submissions are accepted each month for consideration in the issue that will be published two months later. For example, poems submitted in January may be selected during February for publication in the March issue. In other words, you will hear from us promptly.
In submitting your work you agree that the poems submitted have not been previously published. We consider simultaneous submissions with the understanding that if your poems are accepted elsewhere prior to being accepted by Anacapa Review you will promptly notify Anacapa Review by either withdrawing your entire submission in Submittable, or, if not all of the poems have been accepted elsewhere, by indicating in Submittable Messages which poems are still available.
