Call For Submissions

KayTell Ink Publishing is actively seeking diverse and compelling submissions for both our monthly and yearly issues. We welcome all genres of writing and visual art, providing a platform for voices from all walks of life to share their unique perspectives.

Requirements:

  • Submissions must be either unpublished or published by a company that allows reprints without permission.
  • Entrants must confirm that their submissions are their original work, or they have the rights to republish.
  • Any previous publication across platforms, including digital and print media, is considered.

Specifications:

  • Maximum word count is 2500 words, though we offer flexibility depending on the strength of the work.
  • Visual art submissions are accepted in color.
  • All genres will be considered.
  • If the structure of your piece is crucial, please specify that it must remain intact during publication.
  • We accept submissions in PDF and Word Doc formats.

Submissions Details:

  • Email your submissions to [email protected].
  • Include your full name, a bio, a photo (optional, generated headshots accepted with proof of identity), the genre of your work, and the word count.
  • Use the subject line “YEARLY ISSUE SUBMISSION #[Name]”.

Deadlines and Compensation:

  • Yearly issue submission deadline is December 1st.
  • Accepted pieces are compensated at $5.00 each and entered into our “Crowd’s Favorite” Competition.
  • The yearly issue is published in December.

Crowd’s Favorite Competition:

  • Engage with your readers through our “Crowd’s Favorite” competition.
  • Each issue features a live poll post-publication, open for three months, allowing readers to vote for their favorite submission.
  • The winner receives a $100.00 cash prize and recognition within the community.

By submitting, entrants agree to all competition rules, ensuring their submissions meet all guidelines and maintaining the integrity of their work. We look forward to discovering and publishing works that inspire, challenge, and captivate our readers.
