Send us your favorite short fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, visual art and photography for our next issue via our Submittable page. We seek fresh content that stokes the senses and resonates with our readers. “Yutori” is our suggested Winter 2024 theme, but ALL submissions are accepted for review per our standard guidelines. Themes are optional.
For review, we’ll take one fiction (3,500 words), one CNF (3,500 words), three poems (50 lines max each), and six visual art and photography images (300 DPI minimum). We do accept simultaneous submissions as well as multiple submissions per year and for different genres.
We aim to support the entire writing community but like to shine a spotlight on new artists who unleash their imagination and cultivate innovative and emotionally-intelligent storytelling as well as those who have felt underrepresented or marginalized. Here at Cool Beans Lit, we enjoy writing and art that moves us. We welcome any mix of genres, cultures and media. Our editorial focus is smart yet unpretentious, relevant and exciting.
