Produced at the intersection of art and ideas, The Weganda Review publishes fiction, poetry, diaries, memoirs, art portfolios, photography, reviews, and, especially, essays as cultural criticism. Founded in Uganda in 2023, the journal is a platform for writers, academics, artists and others who present their thinking with clarity, intelligence, and a desire to be understood. The Weganda Review, which is printed quarterly, aspires to be the most instructive journal of its kind south of Khartoum.
